GoCruise & Travel recently held its annual Franchise Top Achiever event during which it not only celebrated the success of its 20 top franchisees but also the growth of the business with 12 new franchisees added this year and double the number of franchisees achieving over £1 million of sales compared with last year.
The event, which took place from 10th to 12th September, was held at the five-star Carden Park Hotel & Spa just outside Chester and hosted by Dan Jones, Business Manager for Cunard. The aim of the event was to reward the high performance of the business owners and to spoil them with a two-day relaxation and pampering experience, including a cocktail masterclass at a quirky converted church in Chester. Over the two days, the group celebrated their successes and shared business opportunities for grow and development, including a focus on Cunard and how they can ensure they keep them in their top ocean trade partner performances.
Dan Jones, Cunard’s Business Manager, commented: “It was a pleasure to host GoCruise & Travel’s Top Achievers event for the second year and to celebrate the achievements of an exceptional group of travel agents. This year has been truly momentous for Cunard as we welcomed Queen Anne to the fleet, and our partnership with GoCruise & Travel and Fred. Olsen Travel continues to flourish through more retail store visits, training opportunities and bespoke hosted events. We have also been honoured to welcome many of this year’s Top Achievers on board our brand new ship, Queen Anne, through ship visits and familiarisation trips and we look forward to showcasing her to even more of our partners in the months ahead.”
